Review by Kathy Parsons
I was asked to write an honest review a few of the selections from Classic Book Bundles in exchange for a free download. These bundles are nothing short of awesome! This one is titled Twelve Years a Slave: Includes Six Additional Slave Narratives. Those additional narratives are:

Uncle Tom’s Cabin
Narrative of Sojourner Truth: A Northern Slave
Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass
My Bondage My Freedom
Up From Slavery
The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, Or Gustavus Vassa, The African

I’m not sure how many pages are in the Kindle version, but the PDF version totals 8990 pages! These are much shorter than printed pages, but what a delight to be able to sit and read on my laptop with nice, large, easy-to-read print - and not having to lug around an enormous book! That a collection of this size is only 99 cents is also amazing - especially with the popularity of the film version of Twelve Years a Slave. All seven books are classics and are very significant chronicles of American history. I haven’t read the whole volume as yet, but have read quite a bit. I can’t recommend this collection highly enough!
