Review by Kathy Parsons
Time is the companion solo piano sheet music book to Michael Logozar’s 2012 recording by the same name. Transcribed note-for-note by Rebecca Oswald and John Zechiel, these pieces are as close to the original recordings as possible. Michael Logozar is an exceptional pianist, so this music isn’t simple to play, but it is not overly-difficult either. The recording was one of my Favorites for 2012, so I was really looking forward to the sheet music - and it was worth the wait! The book isn’t spiral-bound, but the notation is clear and crisp and the music is printed on a bright white paper. The spacing is roomy and easy to read. This is very expressive music, so pianists of an upper-intermediate and early-advanced level (and up) will find much to enjoy. Time is available in book form from Amazon and by individual song downloads from michaellogozar.com. Recommended!
