“Horizon” is a recent music video of pianist/composer Thomas Cunningham playing his original piano solo. Thomas is working on a new album that he expects to release later this year (2026), coming back to his music projects after a long hiatus. He released his first two albums in 1999 (The Exiled Heart) and 2006 (The Story Garden). The music for “Horizon” is very relaxed and peaceful while expressing the feeling of vast open space. Some parts of the piece feel at least somewhat improvised while others seem more composed and intentional. Its six-minute playing time gives the music plenty of space to evolve and explore, and the video is very pleasant to watch.
