What is a "Pick"? In a nutshell, for me, it's an album that really speaks to me. In that regard, Picks are completely subjective and have to elicit at least one "wow!" moment. An album that becomes a Pick is in the running for the Favorites List for the year it was reviewed. Not all Picks make the list, which is the best of the best, but they are still very special recordings that I highly recommend. Beginning with the launch of the new MainlyPiano.com (June 2016) the designation that an album is a "Pick" will stay with the album permanently.
