Review by Kathy Parsons
Greg Maroney has been one of my favorite pianist/composers for many years. He recently started releasing singles as well as full albums of his original piano solos and duets. In the process of proof-reading the sheet music for “The Butterfly,” I fell in love with the piece and decided it deserved a review. Greg is someone who spends a great deal of time outdoors and in nature, and this beautiful piece perfectly captures the graceful movement of a butterfly flying from one flower to another, occasionally allowing a breeze to carry it effortlessly through the air. Delicate yet purposeful, this is the soundtrack to a very pleasant daydream! “The Butterfly” is available from GregMaroney.com, Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and streaming sites such as Spotify.
