Review by Kathy Parsons
"Why and Wherefore" is the fourth single from the multiple award-winning duo, Al Jewer (flutes, Ebow guitar) and Andy Mitran (synthesizers), and marks a return to their ambient roots. The music speaks of purpose, new beginnings and hope - things most of us could use more of these days. Very peaceful and ethereal, "Why and Wherefore" gently transports the listener to a place of warmth, calm and serenity. Because of its almost eight-minute playing time, it's easy to let the piece repeat itself many times without the sound losing its freshness. "Why and Wherefore" is easy to enjoy while listening with full attention or to let drift in and out of consciousness as a beautiful backdrop for other activities.

"Why and Wherefore" is available from Bandcamp, Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and streaming sites such as Spotify. It's a beauty!
