"Pulse of My Heart" is the fourth and final single to drop before the October 20, 2023 release date of Brad Jacobsen's solo piano album, Celtic Piano. A school librarian, Brad is a natural storyteller - both with and without words. When he performs, he tells the stories of what inspired his pieces, making the music even more meaningful. At the piano, he tells those stories with his music only, painting vivid pictures and conveying deep emotions without the use of words. "Pulse of My Heart" is a gentle traditional Irish love song that begins in the upper half of the piano keyboard with a light touch that almost dances on the keys. After the first verse, the piece moves into the more "normal" playing range, adding even more depth of emotion and warmth. It's a gorgeous piano solo and a great sample of what is around the corner with the full album (which I LOVE - review coming very soon!)!
