“Carousel” is the title track from David Lanz’s highly-anticipated upcoming solo piano album, and what a joy it is! Bright and lively, this is a piece inspired by a merry-go-round that moves a bit faster than any I’ve ever ridden, but the happy mood and high spirits expressed in the music are positively infectious! Although it doesn’t really sound like any specific pieces Lanz has composed in his long and colorful career, much of “Carousel” is very distinctly in his more upbeat and energetic style. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album!

And there is more good news! Sheet music for “Carousel” is also available and is reviewed on MainlyPiano.com! There is also a beautiful video for this piece. “Carousel” is available to download only from David’s Shopify store. It can be streamed on Amazon, Spotify, Pandora and many other streaming platforms. Links will be added as they become available. Very highly recommended!
