Review by Kathy Parsons
"Here, There and Everywhere" is the second single released from pianist/composer Gary Schmidt's current project called "Beatles Meditation." Gary hopes to do enough meditative arrangements of classic Beatles tunes for a full album and is off to a great start (he released his piano arrangement of "Let It Be" a few months ago)! "Here, There and Everywhere" is arranged for solo piano and is played at an easy, flowing tempo that gives it a relaxed but very soulful feeling. The song was originally released on The Beatles' 1966 Revolver album and is said to be one of Paul McCartney's favorites of the songs he has written. It's really hard to believe that the song is well over 50 years old, but Gary's arrangement is faithful to the original song while updating it a bit and giving it a very expressive solo piano make-over.

"Here, There and Everywhere" is available to download or stream from Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes and streaming sites such as Spotify. Both thumbs up!
