"Saudade E Mar" is the second solo piano single from pianist/composer Georgia Iatrou, an artist who started playing the piano at the age of nine after winning a month of free piano lessons from a local Christmas lottery! Apparently she hasn't stopped playing the piano since - lucky us! "Saudade E Mar" is a beautiful slow waltz strongly influenced by Greek neo-classical composers. Very melancholy and played with deeply-felt expression it's a wonderful introduction to Georgia Iatrou and her music. I also listened to her first single, "Dear Helen," which was released last year, and it has a bluesy feeling, so she is obviously quite versatile. I can't wait to hear more from her!
