Review by Kathy Parsons
“Morning Glory” is a sweet and gentle solo piano improvisation by pianist/composer Greg Maroney that was recently released as a single. Greg is an artist I’ve reviewed many, many times, but I still always look forward to any new music that emerges from his very capable hands and heart. Greg is someone who spends a lot of time outdoors and who deeply appreciates nature, so this piece is a celebration of the unassuming flower that is the morning glory. Or was it inspired by the glorious possibilities of a new day? Really, it could be either one so you can decide which one fits the images that come to your own mind! It’s a beautifully-flowing and expressive piece that Greg’s many fans will love as much as I do!

“Morning Glory” is available to download from GregMaroney.com, Amazon and iTunes/Apple Music, and is available to stream on various sites, including Spotify. Sheet music for the piece is also available from Greg’s site and is a joy to play.
