“Beside You” is a soulful duet for piano (Janice Lacy, who also composed the piece) and violin (the always-stellar Charlie Bisharat). Co-produced by Tom Eaton and Will Ackerman, the piece has a very relaxed and dreamy feeling - and who couldn’t use some more of that these days? Quoting Janice Lacy: “‘Beside You’ is about walking together with someone you love along the beach, watching the sun set into the ocean, and drawing peace and comfort from their loving presence.” Much of Janice’s music is inspired by the beauty of the Southern CA coastline and the healing energy it provides, and this piece provides something of a massage for the mind!
