Review by Kathy Parsons
"Together Again" continues the musical saga created by Argentinian pianist and composer Matias Baconsky and is the first single from his upcoming album. The story began in 2018 with When The World Ends, which tells the story of a man living at the end of the world, surrounded by his loved ones, hoping that they will be able to find each other in another life. Baconsky's 2021 release, Epochal, tells the next part of the story where the man has survived the apocalypse and is searching for other survivors as well as trying to understand why he survived. As the story progresses, the man has found the love of his life and then the album ends. "Together Again" is the tantalizing resumption of the story. Matias teases us even more by saying "this song picks up where Epochal left off, and expresses the feelings of the man (who thought he was alone) with his beloved one." Fully orchestrated including piano and choral voices, the music has moments that feel triumphant, some that are more mysterious, and some that are quieter and more poignant, so Matias isn't giving away too much of the story with this first single! On the contrary, I'm even more excited to hear more of the upcoming album! If you haven't already, be sure to check out the first two albums to follow the story and to fully appreciate the epic musical story Matias has created.

"Together Again" is available from Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and streaming sites including Spotify. Very highly recommended!
