Review by Kathy Parsons
“You Never Know” is a single release from Michael Hoppé’s 2025 album, Across the Years - The Orchestral Music, which I reviewed this past July. The album is a wonderful collection of eleven of Hoppé’s orchestral works from the past twenty-four years and will likely touch even the hardest of hearts. “You Never Know” was written as a love song for Michael’s wife, Monica, and overflows with sweet tenderness and affection. Cello and viola carry much of the soulful melody with a full string section and a harp providing a warm and soothing background. A contemporary classical work of art, don’t miss this one!

“You Never Know” is available to stream or download on Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes, and can be streamed on platforms including Spotify and Pandora. I give it my highest recommendation!
