"Of the Day" is the third single from Michelle Qureshi's upcoming album, Zindagi, which is scheduled for release on June 7, 2024. In a nutshell, the album title is a Persian word that means "life" and the ten tracks explore Michelle's love of music and of life itself. She expresses those feelings with guitars (acoustic, electric and bowed), synths, drums, bells, chimes, keyboards and more. "Of the Day" varies from very ethereal and ambient to livelier and more rhythmic to a hard-driving beat and back again. It's a very colorful and expressive piece that goes through a lot of changes without feeling fragmented or broken up. It's a fascinating journey and I'm really looking forward to hearing the full album!
