Review by Kathy Parsons
"Forillon" is the first track from Réjean Doyon's 2016 album titled Jardins d'eau (Water Gardens). Named for Forillon National Park in Quebec (Parc national de Forillon) this gorgeous piano solo expresses grace, majesty, beauty, and so much more. Founded in 1970, the park itself includes forests, sea coast, salt marshes, sand dunes, cliffs, and the eastern end of The Appalachians. Doyon has created elegant musical snapshots of many of those features and assembled them as a lovely sonic collage expressing passion, wonder, and deep appreciation. This beautiful piece is the first I've heard of Réjean Doyon's music, and I'm really looking forward to hearing more!

The single ("Forillon") and the album (Jardins d'eau) are available from Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and various streaming sites including Spotify. Very highly recommended!
