“Resilience” is the second collaborative single by Shambhu and Leo Steinriede, following their 2024 hit release, “Openings.” Composed and recorded live at Hamptons Sanctuary Studios in New York, the piece is a beautiful example of two artists listening, responding and creating in real time - something of a conversation without words. Warm and soothing with a gently flowing rhythm, the single features Shambhu on electric guitar, synthesizer and bass, along with Steinriede on electric and Nashville guitars. “Resilience” will be the closing track on Shambhu’s upcoming (Fall 2025) album, Lotus Dream - an album I’m really looking forward to!

“Resilience” begins with a gentle guitar motif that recurs throughout the piece while Shambhu’s electric guitar responds with an easy-going blues feeling. Synth washes and ambient sounds (including reverb) add depth while providing an uplifting atmosphere for reflection and renewal.
