Review by Kathy Parsons
Stephen Peppos has released a four-song CD of three traditional and one original pieces. The CD is available exclusively from stephenpeppos.com and for download at iTunes. Here is a summary of the four pieces:

Christmas Nights” is a sparkling original instrumental piece that overflows with peace and contentment blended with a touch of holiday magic. It’s an evocative addition to the traditional musical repertoire.

“God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen” is a traditional carol that can take on an astonishing variety of untraditional treatments. Its minor-key air of mystery and haunting melody are brought to full advantage in this arrangement, which draws on classical, rock, and new age stylings to become my favorite version this season! A real treat!

“Silent Night” shimmers with keyboard, strings, and atmospheric sounds that suggest the perfect peace of moonlight reflected on snow as well as the rekindling of hope.

Keyboards, strings, and a cinematic sweep bring the ageless “Greensleeves” into the 21st century with a graceful new age sensibility.
