"It Mattered" is a deeply moving solo piano single from Suzanne Herman, a longtime piano teacher as well as a composer and recording artist. Much of Suzanne's music is inspired by the beauty of the west coast of Florida, where she lives, but this piece is a sincere cry from Suzanne's heart as well as a dramatic expression of her personal, raw emotions. Suzanne's elegant piano touch and graceful playing style enhance the poignant quality of the music, communicating her feelings and emotions from one heart to another without the use of (or need for) words. I also love the cover artwork of a silhouetted pelican flying over the ocean, a scene I love seeing on our Oregon Coast on the opposite side of the US!
