Review by Kathy Parsons
Marble Halls is a solo piano single release by pianist/composer/arranger William Ogmundson. Very classically-styled with a gently-rolling left hand and a sweet, uncomplicated melody, this is the first single from Ogmundson’s upcoming album (releasing mid-March 25, 2019), Forevermore. Marble Halls is an arrangement of a song from the opera, The Gypsy Girl from 1843. The opera was composed by Michael William Balfe with a libretto by Alfred Bunn, but as he always does, Ogmundson truly makes the piece his own. Very quiet yet overflowing with heartfelt emotion, it’s a very tantalizing tease for the album! I look forward to being one of the first in line on the release date!

Marble Halls is available from www.WilliamOgmundson.com, Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby.
