Oasis is the companion sheet music collection for Christine Brown's 2024 solo piano album by the same name. Christine's elegant and distinctive piano style makes her music as much of a joy to play as it is to listen to! Also known for her medleys of pop, classical and Christmas music, the thirteen pieces in this collection are all original compositions. From light-hearted to darker and more mysterious, Christine always puts her heart into her music.

The Oasis songbook is available as a spiral-bound printed book or a PDF download from Christine's website. Individual pieces are also available to download. I played the PDF version of the songbook on my iPad for this review and found the scores to be well-spaced and very easy to read. Metronome settings are included and directions for things such as hand cross-overs are clearly marked. I didn't find any reaches of more than an octave. A few of the pieces are at an intermediate playing level and a few are early-advanced, but most pianists at an upper-intermediate level should be able to master this very expressive and beautiful music without too much work. Oasis would also be very appropriate teaching material that is especially well-suited for teens and adult students.
