SWIM TO AMERICA une rétrospective Stephan Eicher au piano THE COMPLETE COLLECTION contains all thirty-nine piano solos from Doug Hammer's three-volume set of his arrangements of the music of Swiss rocker and pop chanteur, Stephan Eicher. Eicher is a major star in Europe and Doug has been a huge fan of his music since the 1990s. The story of how the project came about is almost as interesting as the music, and is included in several of my reviews as well as an interview we did in 2024.

A longterm project, Doug released Volumes 1 and 2 in 2023, and Volume 3 in 2024. The three songbooks and this Complete Collection were released at different times in 2024. It is important to note that Doug did the sheet music transcriptions himself and I proof-read them, and I can assure you that these piano solos are as close a match to the recordings as is possible.
