Piano Stories of The Little Prince 2 is the companion sheet music book for Milana Zilnik's 2025 recording with the same title. The album won't be released until May 16, 2025, but the songbook is available now on Amazon as a paperback printed book.

Piano Stories of The Little Prince 1 and 2 are a solo piano retelling of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's classic story originally published in 1943. A favorite book from Milana's own childhood as well as one she shared with her children, the incidents and characters from the book are lovingly interpreted (without words) in a variety of musical styles - something Milana is especially good at with her colorful playing, deeply emotional expression, and her exceptional understanding of many genres of music.

I was asked to proof-read the sheet music and found it to be as fun and intriguing to play as it is to listen to! The twelve pieces range from light-hearted and humorous to heart-breakingly sad to dark and mysterious - and more! I'm sure some of the music will invite you to add your own interpretation and style. Be creative as you enjoy learning these wonderful pieces, and refer to the recording (coming soon!) to get an even better understanding of how Milana interpreted these musical stories herself.

After proof-reading Book 1, I decided to get a copy of The Little Prince story. Having spent quite a bit of time with the music, the stories and characters felt very familiar. I think that says it all about how much I have enjoyed my time with both parts of Piano Stories of The Little Prince!
