Christmas Whisperings is the companion songbook to the CD/download by the same name. The book includes all sixteen tracks from the album, which are Christmas favorites arranged and performed by sixteen artists from the Whisperings Solo Piano Radio group. The collection was compiled over several years at Joe Bongiorno’s Piano Haven Studio and was published by SoloPianoChristmas.com, a sister-station to Whisperings. This is a really nice collection that features a combination of sacred and secular carols that are true to the original melodies with some personal touches by each of the artists. None of the carols are overly difficult, although a few present some moderate challenges. Most pianists at an upper-intermediate level (and above) will have little trouble mastering most of these songs.

This beautiful book has a full color cover, with artwork by Matt Strieby of New Leaf Design. The book is printed on a sturdy paper stock and spiral bound so it will stay open on your piano even the first time you play from it. Each of the contributing artists submitted their own sheet music, so there is some variation in whether or not there are pedal marking, guitar chords, etc., but this should not present any problems for playing purposes.
