Heaven is the newest album from Anaya Music (aka AnayaMusic Kunst), and what a soothing and inspiring beauty it is! The album is described as “an ethereal soundscape — a symphonic journey that invites listeners to experience the fusion of orchestral grace and celestial harmonies. With luminous textures and transcendent emotion, the album awakens the divine essence within, where music becomes light and sound becomes soul.” The album features a variety of instruments and lush orchestrations, as well as soaring vocals (on two tracks), all handled by Anaya Music as composer, arranger, performer and producer; she also mastered the album - more than impressive! The orchestrations are AI, but you could have fooled me on that one! I’ve reviewed a lot of Anaya Music’s albums over the past ten years, and I think Heaven is my favorite (so far!).
Quoting Anaya Music: “Heaven is not just a destination — it’s a vibration of love and light that lives within us all. Through this music, I wish to share that experience — where our souls remember their infinite harmony.” Let your spirit rise.
Heaven opens with the title track, a warm and gentle piece performed with vibrant strings, piano and, later in the piece, the full orchestra - a gorgeous and heartfelt beginning! “Ethereal” is more symphonic, taking us on a joyful sonic excursion through sunny blue skies and fluffy white clouds - blissful! “Harmony in Nature” is the first of the vocal tracks and is truly poetry set to music. Anaya Music’s voice is warm and very expressive, and the lyrics are truly inspired, reflecting someone whose life has been fueled by passion and music. I really love this song! “Whispers in Harmony” returns to the symphonic orchestra with a cinematic sweep that is powerful and dramatic. I really like this one, too! “Melodies” begins as a piano/keyboard solo, becomes a gentle duet with flute with subtle and ethereal keyboard washes, gradually adding instruments and rhythms. Dreamy and warm, it makes the “bad stuff” happening these days go away - at least temporarily! “Celestial” takes us on a peaceful excursion to the stars in a dark and quiet night sky. “Harmony” begins as an acoustic guitar solo, adding violin or viola for a soulful duet and then soaring to the heavens. “Afternoon” combines the full symphony with bird songs to create a lazy kind of feeling. More ambient than most of the other tracks, it seems to encourage an afternoon nap! Strings, piano (keyboard) and flute make “Ethereal Dawn” as calm, peaceful and promising as an early-morning sunrise. “Harmony of the Spheres” is the second vocal piece and the last track on the album. It carries on the spirit of “Harmony in Nature,” but isn’t the same song with different lyrics. The vocals and words are stunning in their passion, range and beauty! “In the harmony of spheres, love is everywhere.”
Heaven is truly an amazing and magical creation! The album can be streamed and downloaded from Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes. It can also be streamed on Spotify, YouTube and Pandora. There is also a gorgeous video of the title track on YouTube. Very highly recommended!!!
