Review by Kathy Parsons
"Dance of the Flowers" is a beautiful solo piano single by Italian pianist/composer/educator Angelo Nicola Giuliano. The seventh single he has released in 2021 (so far!), the music is a gentle mix of classical and contemporary stylings with a focus on creating an emotional listening experience. "Dance of the Flowers" is a quietly expressive minor key waltz played on a slightly felted piano. The sound of the piano action is audible, but is never intrusive. The felting gives the piano a softer, less percussive sound that works really well with this piece. When I listened to it the first time, the first ten seconds or so reminded me of Erik Satie's music, but after that, it brings images of a meadow or a beautiful garden with flower blossoms "dancing" gracefully in a gentle breeze - peaceful, soothing and poignant. I love it!

I have listened to several of Angel Nicola Giuliano's singles on Spotify, and look forward to getting better-acquainted with his music! "Dance of the Flowers" is available from Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and Spotify as well as other streaming sites.
