Review by Kathy Parsons
"Make a Happy Face" is an utterly charming single that is suitable for kids of all ages. Truly a family project, Carol Nicodemi wrote the song, sings and plays the kazoo (not all at once!); husband Ed (Edmond Paul Nicodemi) plays guitar, bass, toy piano and theremin (I don't think he played those at the same time either!); and Carol and Ed's daughter and granddaughter sing along. This carefree little song should do it for anyone needing a little bit of musical sunshine in their day/week/month, etc. "Turn around your frown, turn it upside down." Who can stay grumpy with words like that?

Carol and Ed have released several collaborative albums together, and Carol also released a solo album in 2012 called It Goes This Way. She has been working on a series of original children's songs and the two singles she has released so far are a joy!

"Make a Happy Face" is available from Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and streaming sites such as Spotify and YouTube. It's a real day-brightener!
