“On a Chance” is a solo (almost) piano single by Chris Nole. (I put “almost” because there are some atmospheric synth washes in several places in the piece.) Relaxed with an optimistic spirit, it has an easy walking tempo coupled with a sense of purpose (as the piece’s YouTube video confirms). It’s a beautiful antidote for all of the chaos in the world right now and seems to offer feelings of hope and reassurance (my interpretation!). In any case, it’s a musical breath of fresh air!

Chris Nole is an incredibly versatile artist - both as a composer and as a musician. He has collaborated and toured with an amazing array of different artists as well as releasing his own music. Chris was featured at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame in 2024 as part of their “Musician Spotlight” which showcased his work as a pianist, composer and producer with national touring credits.
