Review by Kathy Parsons
"Minood" is a Native Flute style single by Diane Wheeler Dunn that came to her in a dream. Dedicated to her brother who passed away last year, the piece creates "an ephemeral soundscape to express the space created for our love for our departed loved ones." Diane further defines it on her website as: "The empty space in your heart that remains when a loved one leaves." The piece begins with a slow, haunting pan flute solo before the Native flutes, ambient pad and upright bass enter and take us on a sonic ambient journey. Congas come in about the mid-point of the piece, providing a subtle but distinctive energy to the more mournful flutes. It's a very beautiful memorial.

"Minood" is available from Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes, and streaming sites including Spotify, YouTube, and Pandora.
