Transitions are an ongoing part of all forms of life, with some transitions being far more significant than others. Transition has also come to mean the passage from life to death and whatever waits for us beyond our earthly bodies. Eric Chapelle's single release, "Transition," can easily refer to any use of the word in the title as can the slow, easy pace of the piece. More ambient than melodic, this beautiful piece features Eric on electric guitar in a tribute to his late brother. Bass, strings, and a variety of digital instruments create a peaceful atmosphere that is also poignant and reflective. Eric has created a stunning music video for "Transition" that features his own footage of the ebb and flow of the ocean close to shore - a perfect match for the music.
