Review by Kathy Parsons
“Heart 639 Hz” is the second single I’ve reviewed from Éxtasis’ (Allan Susoeff) chakra series. The heart chakra, also known as “Anahata,” is the fourth chakra in the body’s energy system. Located in the center of the chest, it is associated with love, compassion and balance. Intended for relaxation and meditation, the music is smooth and ambient, moving slowly and gracefully while allowing the listener to slow down and “just breathe.” Allan used the Solfeggio frequency of 639 Hz to record the music because this frequency may help some people create and maintain harmonious relationships. He also added binaural beats, which are thought to be able to influence brain activity (brainwave entrainment) and help some people relax, sleep and/or focus. A wide range of instruments and field recordings were used to create “Heart 639 Hz,” and it’s a beautiful and very soothing listening experience.
“Heart 639 Hz” is available to stream and download from Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes and on many streaming platforms including Spotify and Pandora.
