Review by Kathy Parsons
Jim "Kimo" West and David "Vito" Gregoli have created a beautiful new single with their acoustic arrangement of the beloved Christmas carol, "Hark The Herald Angels Sing." Warm, peaceful and relaxed, the instrumentation includes acoustic guitars layered with fretless bass, ukulele and nylon guitar, as well as Puerto Rican cuatro and dobro, giving it a true "world music" feeling. The melody was composed by Felix Mendelssohn in 1840 to celebrate Gutenberg's invention of movable type and was adapted to fit the lyrics that were written in 1739. This new arrangement expresses optimism and a quiet form of joy, and would an elegant and heartwarming addition to anyone's collection of Christmas music.

"Hark The Herald Angels Sing" is available to stream or download from Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes as well as streaming sites including Spotify and Pandora. Highly recommended!
