Review by Kathy Parsons
“Dawn Contemplation” is a gorgeous new single from pianist/composer Lisa Swerdlow. Orchestrated by Doug Hammer, the music is soothing, powerful, peaceful, dramatic, and always heartfelt. That’s a lot to fit into 4 1/2 minutes of music, but both artists did a magnificent job and the recording is stunning! The piece begins as a quiet piano and cello duet and gradually adds more strings, oboe, light bells, and then full orchestration. The more powerful themes ebb and flow with the quieter ones, keeping the tonal colors constantly changing - much like a morning sunrise. Pure magic!

“Dawn Contemplation” is available from Amazon, iTunes and the various streaming sites. Both thumbs up!
