"Shimmer and Fade" is a beautiful solo piano single from Michael Dulin, one of the best and most expressive pianists on the planet. Deeply introspective, this feels very much like music that was created in the middle of night while soul-searching at the piano. There are some jazz elements in the music - mostly the freedom and spontaneity - as well as classical, but it is 100% Dulin, and that's always a good thing! It's been several years since we've had a new album of original pieces from Michael, but I hear that the six singles that have been released over the past year will be included. I can't wait!

A life-long pianist/composer/producer/performer, Michael is classically-trained and is a graduate of Juilliard. He is completely at ease with a wide variety of music genres, from traditional classics to touring with The Temptations to his own compositions - and whenever he sits down at the piano, magic is sure to happen!
