"Aerial" is the second single from Michael Gettel's upcoming album, The View From Here, which will be released on February 11, 2022. One of the prominent artists on the Narada label during its heyday in the 1990's, this will be Gettel's first new album in more than 15 years and his 13th album to date. Much of Gettel's music was and is inspired by nature and "Aerial" is a beautiful piano piece that expresses freedom and effortless movement. The sound of a large group of fluttering wings and twittering birds (emulated on piano or keyboard) weaves in and out of the more relaxed melody, giving it a compelling energy as it calls for you to look up in wonder!

If the first two singles are any indication (and I'm sure that they are!), The View From Here will have been worth the wait for Michael Gettel's many longtime fans and a real treat for those have yet to discover his music!
