Review by Kathy Parsons
"You Say" is Nathan LaMotte's solo piano arrangement of Lauren Daigle's 2018 chart-topping hit song. The lyrics tell of self-doubt being assuaged by reassurances from God and putting complete trust in that rather than feeling unworthy or inferior. It's a powerful song and Nathan puts heartfelt passion and energy into his version, clearly communicating those same emotions without relying on lyrics. Nathan has a quotation on his website by actor Kelsey Grammar that sums up his approach to this arrangement very well: "Prayer is when you talk to God. Meditation is when you're listening. Playing piano allows you to do both at the same time." I like that!

"You Say" is available from Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and streaming sites including Spotify. I give "You Say" both thumbs up!
