"Sunflowers" is a warm and uplifting solo piano single by pianist/composer Pam Asberry. Inspired by Vincent van Gogh's painting with the same title, the piece features a gentle, colorful melody supported by the left hand's broken chord pattern. Van Gogh associated sunflowers with themes of gratitude, friendship and the beauty of nature and Pam has incorporated those themes into her music as well. "Sunflowers" will be part of an upcoming album that will feature music inspired by the arts - paintings, poetry, literature, music, etc. - a release I am very much looking forward to!
