Review by Kathy Parsons
"Hudson Highlands" is a relaxed and easy-going addition to Peter Calandra's continuing series of solo piano singles. The music feels spontaneous and almost conversational, and this is one of those pieces that you wish would go on forever as it soothes and calms away the cares and stresses of the day. I assume the inspiration for the music is the Hudson Highlands State Park which is 50 miles north of New York City. A mostly undeveloped preserve of over 8,000 acres with more than 70 miles of trails, the preserve protects a variety of special habitats, providing a haven for many plants and animals. Peter's music suggests that it's a haven for many city dwellers as well!

"Hudson Highlands" is available to stream or download from Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes as well as from the various streaming sites. I give it a very enthusiastic both thumbs up!
