Review by Kathy Parsons
“Moonlight Passage” is Peter Calandra’s first release of 2026. The single features Peter Prosser on cello and Peter Calandra doing everything else, including nylon string guitar, piano, keyboards, engineering and mixing. He also composed the track, which will be included on Calandra’s upcoming album, The Stillness Between. As is often the case, it’s very difficult to put this beautiful piece into one specific genre as there are elements of ambient, new age and jazz stylings that combine to create a peaceful, relaxing mood. Prosser’s soulful cello blends gracefully with Calandra’s guitar and piano. There are moments that are somewhat more mysterious and intense, but the overall feel of the piece is calm and serene. It’s a great start to a very promising new year!

“Moonlight Passage” is available to stream or download on Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes as well as on many streaming platforms including Spotify and Pandora. Both thumbs up!
