Review by Kathy Parsons
"Morning Glow" is the first in a series of original solo piano singles by Peter Calandra. A new single will be released every two weeks, and I plan to review them all, so keep checking back. Peter has become one of my favorite pianists over the years, so I'm very excited about this series! An exceptionally versatile composer and pianist/keyboardist, he brings something very special to all of his projects and if "Morning Glow" is any indication, this series will be stellar. Expressive and somewhat ambient, the piece beautifully conveys the peaceful pastels of a sunrise and the stillness of dawn. Little by little, those colors brighten and become more vibrant while the music remains relaxed and serene. What a wonderful way to start the day!

Longtime fans of Peter Calandra's music are going to love having new music from him every two weeks! If you are new to Peter's music, here's a great chance to get acquainted! "Morning Glow" is available from Amazon, Apple Music/iTunes and streaming sites such as Spotify. Don't miss it!
