"Night Sky" is the last single from Peter Calandra for 2023, and what a gorgeous way to close out a stellar year! (I hear that 2024 could be even better with a new solo piano album due out in March!) A very relaxed and soothing piano solo, "Night Sky" is as hypnotic as the stunning cover artwork (also created by Peter). The music expresses a very dreamy sense of freedom and inner peace sure to take your mind to a very good place - at least while the music lasts! Peter is an artist who is very comfortable in a wide range of music genres, and if I had to put this piece into a category, it would likely be ambient, but like so much of Peter's music, it really defies classification and is simply a beautiful piano solo by Peter Calandra and one of my favorites for the year. Very highly recommended!
