"The Ukrainian National Anthem" single is a solo piano arrangement by Robin Spielberg. Robin explains it best:

"Last week, after my piano was tuned, I sat down and learned the Ukrainian National Anthem. A large part of my family is from eastern Europe and I have visited The Ukraine——I wanted to arrange the song as a prayer. That evening, we recorded it. My 'new' piano (1896 Victorian Steinway) is just splendid. Gerry at the mastering house had the track mastered within a few days. My distributor fast-tracked the release when I told them I was donating proceeds from the digital song and sheet music sales to UnitedHelpUkraine. Unbelievable. Today, Sherry Finzer told me she would donate her promotional services for the track. I am just floored by this generosity."

The Anthem begins very softly and gently in the upper end of the piano keyboard and is, indeed, very prayer-like. Robin obviously put her heart into this, as it touches very deeply - especially when thinking about what is happening in Ukraine as I write this in my cozy office. When the melody repeats a little bit past the mid-point of the recording, "it builds to a more triumphant feeling to reflect the resiliency and determination of the Ukrainian people." (again quoting Robin.)

What a wonderful gift this music is to the Ukrainian people in their time of need!
