"Dance of the Ancients" is a new solo piano single by Tim Neumark that is quite different from the music on his recently-released album, Relax. Composed in a lively 7/8 time signature, the piece has a somewhat edgy rhythm as well as a strong Middle Eastern influence in the music itself. Tim plans to orchestrate "Dance of the Ancients" in the near-future, and it will be very interesting to hear what kind of instrumentation he chooses for it!
