Review by Kathy Parsons
Over the past few years, Tim Neumark has been finding less well-known Christmas songs, creating his own arrangements of them, and then releasing them as singles. When he has enough of these arrangements finished, he plans to release a full album of carols from around the world. Best known as a pianist/composer, Tim has been arranging for orchestra and ensembles recently. "A La Nanita Nana" is a Spanish Christmas carol that was originally written for voice and piano. It was composed by Jose´Ramón Gomis and published in 1904. Tim's arrangement is orchestrated and was recorded with real musicians. Doug Hammer did the mixing and mastering. Very classical, stately and beautiful, it's a lovely addition to anyone's Christmas music collection - especially those who are looking for songs that are less familiar.

"A La Nanita Nana" is available from Amazon, Apple/iTunes, and streaming sites like Spotify.
