Review by Kathy Parsons
Relaxing Piano Artists For Alzheimer's Research is an astonishing collection of forty solo piano pieces contributed by twenty artists (two pieces each) from The Whisperings Solo Piano Radio community. Available only by download from iTunes and Amazon.com, the project is the brainchild of pianist/composer Brian Crain who also produced it. (The complete play list is available at both sites.) Not only do you get three hours of some of the best solo piano music out there for less than $10, but all proceeds will go to Alzheimer’s Research - everybody wins! A few of the artists who contributed their music are David Lanz, Brian Crain, David Nevue, Jennifer Haines, Greg Maroney, Jeff Bjorck, Rebecca Oswald, and Joe Bongiorno. All of the music is of a consistently high quality, and the playing order flows wonderfully. This could be the piano recording of the year, so check it out and help fund much-needed research at the same time. I give this project my highest recommendation!

Unfortunately, this album is no longer available.
