“Sonate No. 1 - Piano” is the first of three solo piano singles that French pianist/composer Yaacov Salah has released, starting in later 2025. I found his music accidentally while listening to another artist’s album for review, and I was immediately hooked. Beautifully expressive with a poignant feeling of melancholy, I think the piano is very lightly felted for this piece. The music is not terribly complicated, but the deep emotion comes through beautifully - from one heart to another! I can’t wait to find out more about this artist and look forward to reviewing more of his music!
