Review by Kathy Parsons
“Butterfly” is a gorgeous solo piano single by Zsolt Pataki, an artist born in Hungary and now living in Germany who is rapidly becoming one of my favorite composer/pianists. Also a very impressive body builder, Zsolt is a man who isn’t afraid to show his emotions - in his music anyway. As graceful and as delicate as the creatures that inspired the music, the piece has a very rubato tempo (flexible and expressive) that describes the way that butterflies fly from flower to flower, pausing, fluttering their wings, and moving on. The beautiful and incredibly peaceful video that goes with the piece illustrates this movement, a variety of butterflies, and some soothing footage of flowing water - very calming and a breath of fresh air!

“Butterfly” is available to stream and download from Amazon as well as on streaming platforms including Spotify and Pandora. The video is playing on YouTube. Very highly recommended!
