Review by Kathy Parsons
“Good Morning” is the first of three singles from British pianist/composer Alexis Ffrench’s upcoming (October 2, 2026) album titled 24. The album’s twenty-four tracks take the listener through each hour of a day, from the quiet of early morning into the busy heart of the day and on to the evening’s sunset and darkening night. Quoting Alexis Ffrench: “I wanted this album to reflect the everyday miracles in people’s lives.” Some of the tracks on the album feature additional instrumentation, but “Good Morning” is a serene piano solo that Ffrench calls: “a burst of positivity at the start of the day.”

Calling himself a “classical soul artist,” Ffrench’s music is not restricted by genre, style, or content - he can do it all (and do it beautifully!). “Good Morning” reflects the delicate colors of dawn, the peace of a quiet world just starting to awaken, and the optimistic promise of a new day. It’s a gorgeous piece, and I can’t wait to hear the other two singles and then the full album!

“Good Morning” can be streamed and downloaded on Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes and is also available on many streaming platforms including Spotify and Pandora. VERY highly recommended!!!
