“With Honor” is a single from Amy Skjei’s (pronounced “Shay’s”) upcoming solo piano album, Piano Poems. Fervent and sincere yet still very peaceful and comforting, the music was obviously inspired by something that holds deep meaning for Amy. Even though the piece is less than 2 1/2 minutes of playing time, it carries a lot of emotion and Amy puts her whole heart into playing it. Classically-trained from a young age, Amy considers most of her music to be classical crossover. Her music is featured on quite a few internet radio stations including Whisperings Solo Piano Radio. I’m really looking forward to hearing the whole album!
