Review by Kathy Parsons
"Ave Maria Instrumental" is a newer version of David Lanz and Kristin Amarie's new/original setting of the classic Latin prayer. The first single was released earlier this year and features an orchestra, choir and Luca Brugnoli of the Libera Boys Choir behind Kristin Amarie's soaring vocals. Rather than a full orchestra, this version includes violinist Charlie Bisharat and cellist Cameron Stone along with David Lanz at the piano (yea!). David Lanz and Kristin Amarie wrote the music for this piece, which was then arranged by Kurt Bestor. This version doesn't feature any vocals at all, but the three amazingly talented instrumentalists are dazzling as well as inspiring with their gorgeous performance. A brilliant mix of classical and contemporary stylings, I'm sure this instrumental version of "Ave Maria" will touch the hearts of many, many people.

"Ave Maria Instrumental" is available to stream and download from Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes, and from many streaming platforms including Spotify. Sheet music is available from SheetMusicDirect.com and SheetMusicPlus.com. Highly recommended!
